What a refrigerated air dryer does
A refrigerated dryer works through a simple sequence:
- Cools the compressed air
- Condenses the moisture it carries
- Separates the condensed water
- Delivers cleaner and drier compressed air
- Helps protect compressed-air equipment and processes
Where dry air matters most
Spray finishing, pneumatic control, instrumentation and any process where air touches the product are the usual candidates. Water in the line shows up as spoiled finishes, sticking valves and corroded pipe.
Dryers and filtration work together
A dryer is usually paired with water trap filters, regulators and oilers at the point of use so that each workstation receives air at the right condition and pressure.
